The phrase "AI operating system" is used for laptop software, research projects and business platforms alike, and most pages that rank the business products are written by one of the vendors. This guide sets out what each product holds, what it can do, what it costs and who should choose something else, with a source for every fact.

Who it is for

Owners, managing directors, operations leads and finance heads at companies of roughly 10 to 500 people who are deciding whether to run more of the business on one AI system, and which one. We assume readers know their own operations far better than any vendor does and want the trade-offs stated plainly.

How it is made

Every profile is built from the vendor's own published pages: product pages, pricing pages, documentation and the customer evidence it publishes. Each fact carries a source with the date we read it. Every product is compared on the same seven criteria, which are set out on the methodology page.

The main ranking is reviewed at least once a quarter and whenever a vendor changes its prices or product materially. Each page shows when it was last updated and keeps a short log of changes.

Ownership

This site is published by the team behind OpenLazarus, one of the products reviewed. OpenLazarus is assessed on the same criteria as every other product, and its limits are stated in the same terms.

Corrections

Readers who spot an error can write to us. We check it against the source, correct the page and note the change.
