Sources before statements

Every factual claim about a product links to a source we opened, with the date we read it. If a claim cannot be verified, it is left out or marked as not published. Vendor figures are labelled as the vendor's.

The same rules for every product

Each product is described with the same structure: who it suits, who it does not, what it costs, its strengths and its limits. The publisher's own product is held to the same standard and its limits are stated as plainly.

No paid placement

No vendor pays to be listed, ranked or described. Links to vendor sites are provided for convenience.

How we use AI tools

AI tools assist our research and first drafts. A person checks every factual statement against its cited source before a page is published.

Corrections

Readers who find a fact that is wrong or stale can tell us. Verified errors are corrected promptly, and the change is recorded in the page's change log with the date.
